UNDERHOOD BLACK® Semi-Gloss is just the right 15-19 percent semi-gloss finish for most radiator supports, inner fender walls, underhood brackets, and other under hood parts. The Matte formula duplicates the near-zero gloss finish you find in many older cars for those parts. Both formulas resist chipping, scratches and light impacts.11-oz. aerosol can covers 6 square feet; 1-quart can covers 48 square feet.

UNDERHOOD BLACK® is the correct shade of black under hood spray paint for engine-compartment paint on radiator supports, inner fender walls, lug wrenches, jack bases, under hood brackets and other parts. Black under hood paints from typical hardware stores are either too thick, too glossy, or the wrong color.
Just clean, degrease, and prepare the parts well (use our Self-Etching Primers), then apply this engine-compartment paint for a professional, factory-like, under hood paint finish. Acrylic lacquer withstands up to 250° F and goes on thin for a smooth finish that doesn't hide surface details.
