L'apprêt époxy Eastwood doit être appliqué en couches moyennement humides, avec une période d'évaporation de 30 minutes entre chaque couche (à 70 °F). En règle générale, une à deux couches suffisent pour obtenir l'épaisseur de film sec souhaitée de 1 mil, bien que davantage de matériau puisse être appliqué si nécessaire. Une épaisseur supplémentaire nécessite des périodes d'évaporation plus longues entre les couches. L'apprêt époxy peut être recouvert après environ 30 minutes (attendre 45 à 60 minutes après avoir appliqué plus de deux couches), ou jusqu'à environ cinq jours. Après cinq jours, l'apprêt DOIT être poncé avant l'application de la couche de finition. Peut être poncé (humide) le lendemain de l'application. Attendre deux à trois jours avant de poncer à sec.
